The Viking Legacy Scholarship
The Viking Legacy Scholarship empowers Holmen High School students as the next generation of leaders committed to effecting positive change in the community.
Every year a new class of graduates join the lineage of Legacy Scholars in their contribution to the community by leaving their Viking Legacy.
Established in 2019, the Viking Legacy Scholarship was intended to empower Holmen High School students in their pursuit of higher learning. Over the first four years, the Viking Legacy Scholarship, with the help of the Holmen High School Scholarship Committee, selected and enabled outstanding graduates from Holmen High School to undertake studies in different disciplines throughout the midwest.
The founding aim of the Scholarship was to identify leaders from Holmen who, through their pursuit of education, would remain connected to their Holmen roots and collectively develop creative opportunities to effect positive change as leaders in government, arts, schools, and businesses in the community.
As the scholarships and foundation continue to grow, we aspire to give more opportunities to students in the greater La Crosse area by empowering graduating high school students as the next generations of leaders committed to selfless service.
